TRINISTAB-648 is a one pack stabiliser with reasonably good heat stabilising and light stabilising characteristics. |
| APPLICATIONS |
TRINISTAB-648 is a cost performance stabiliser for extrusion of rigid PVC pipes for both pressure and non-pressure applications.
TRINISTAB-648 has been specially designed for providing optimum performance on twin screw extruders. The dosage of TRINISTAB-648 and the stearic acid should be optimised for a particular formulation. At higher levels of fillers, for example for non-pressure pipes, addition of small quantities(0.1-0.2phr) of paraffin wax or polyethylene wax or synthetic ester wax may be considered.
Pipe manufacturers who are presently using commodity lead stabilisers would generally find it possible to replace the total quantity of stabilisers by a lower dosage of TRINISTAB-648. |
