FINALUX Lubricants
Additives are used to improve flow characteristics of polymers.
Depending upon compatibility in a polymer, these materials can function
internally or externally. Internal lubricants reduce melt viscosity,
which promotes flow. External lubricants reduce friction between
the polymer melt and the metal surfaces of the processing equipment.
Injection molding, external lubricants are referred to as internal
mold release additives. A balance of internal and external lubrication
leads to increased production rates and reduced energy consumption.
For injection molding, the same advantages apply with an addition
benefit of reduction in cycle time.

Lubricant-

Processing Aid-
Multifunctional additive to enhance flow and to improve dispersion
of fillers in processing filled polymer compounds.
Antistatic
Agent-
Additive migrate to the surface to dissipate static charge through
association with moisture in the air.
Application: PVC, PS, HIPS, ABS, LDPE, LLDPE,
EPS, PP, HDPE, extruded and & molded articles for antistatic
additive masterbatches.

Slip Additive-
Inhibits polymer film from sticking to itself and other surfaces
such as converting equipment.
Applications: For EVA, LDPE, LLDPE, PP, extruded
and molded articles, BOPP films and for slip additive masterbatches.
Dispersion Aid-
Aids in the uniform dispersion of additives such as pigments in
color concentrate formulations.
Application: For pigment master batches, color
concentrates and extruded/ molded plastic products.
Viscosity Depressant-
Additive, having good compatibility with PVC, to reduce the viscosity
of PVC paste used for application like Coating, Dip-moulding etc.
Application: Plastisols, leather cloth and toys.
Antifog Agent-
Additive migrates to the polymer surface to prevent the formation
of visible condensation. It is designed to have a controlled solubility
in order to provide a reservoir of material that continuously migrates
to, and is lost at the surface.
Application: PVC / polyolefin packaging films.
Filler Dispersants:
Aids in the uniform dispersion of fillers in highly filled compounds.
Application: Vinyl floorings, cable sheathing
compounds, filled compounds etc and for coating on fillers.
Antiblocking Agents:
For Polypropylene, PVC & BOPP Films and Antiblocking additive
masterbatches.
Flow Improvers:
For improving flow and increasing the output per unit time for
extrusion and molding of PVC, PS, ABS, EPS, FRP, Talc filled PP,
Thermosetting Molding Powders & Engineering Plastic processing.
Mould Release agents:
For easy mould release and reduction in the cycle time.
Application: For all thermoplastics, engineering
plastic molded articles and thermosetting compounds.
GT 25
One pack lubricant specially suggested for RPVC pressure pipes
and commercial pipes, suitable for single as well as twin screw
extruders.
GCC 10
One pack lubricant specially suggested for PVC cable compound used
for insulating sheathing purpose (high filler levels).
CL 4
Liquid combination lubricant and good compatibility and release
properties suitable for plasticized PVC extruded and molded articles
(high gloss).
CL 5
Liquid combination lubricant with good compatibility and stronger
release properties than FINALUX CL 4 suitable for plasticized PVC
extruded and molded articles (high gloss).
Finawax C
Antiblock agent for soft PVC films/sheets, strong release for rigid
PVC calendered sheets, dispersant for FRLS PVC compounds.
Flow improver, release agent, dispersant for PS/ABS/HIPS POM/Nylon/TPU
and other engineering plastics. Highly suitable for filled PP/PE
compounds.

Our first recommendation for PVC Antistatic films is a combination
of FINASTAT-9500 and FINASTAT-FE 20.Besides these, other Finastats
recommended are:

FINALUX-GT 25 FOR RIGID PVC PIPES
FINALUX-GT 25 is a single pack lubricant with the right balance
of internal and external lubrication. FINALUX-GT 25 is suitable
for both, pressure pipes (containing 8 - 12 phr filler level) and
commercial/non pressure pipes (containing 20 - 40 phr filler level).
FINALUX-GT 25 is suitable for both Single Screw and Twin Screw Extruders.
FINAWAX-HC is a refined, distilled hydrocarbon wax recommended
for processing of RPVC pipes/conduits.
Conventional waxes available are taken from crude petroleum residues.
These waxes contain residual oils and other impurities. They show
high volatility, inconsistent quality and low melting point.

Footwear Compounds
FINALUX- G401: Imparts excellent surface finish
and dispersion properties for blowing agents, fillers and pigments.
Gives uniform cell structure in foamed PVC compounds.
FINALUX-G 2: External lubricant having good mould
release properties and higher compatibility than Stearic acid.
FINALUX-CL 4/ CL 5: Single lubricant systems having
balanced internal and external lubricating properties.
PLASTAID-T works on the principle of hydrogen
bonding between polymer and filler (or pigments) to achieve better
mechanical properties (or color strength).
PLASTAID-T is suggested for Highly Filled PP/PE
compounds Thermoplastic Elastomer & Thermosetting Moulding Powders.
PLASTAID-440 is a high performance dispersing
aid in color masterbatches and carbon black based plastics and rubber
compounds.
PLASTAID GR 943 : Flow improver, gloss improver,
Dispersing and Mould release agent for EVA compounding specially
recommended for footwear application in injection moulding.
FINALUX-G 712: Compatible external lubricant.
